On Saturday, 9th June, 2012, the Quay scrabble group held its annual charity scrabble competition. Competitors from Leeds, Doncaster, Shipley, Harrogate, Hull, Cleveland and Beverley attended, as well as our local scrabble players.

From the money raised, a total of £120 will be donated to the local branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
A cheque from the scrabble group was presented to Barbara Atherton on Monday, 11th June. She thanked the group on behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis Society – Bridlington branch.’
